2022-11-04MABUX: The state of uncertainty in Global bunker market continues on Nov.04.
MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) continued irregular trend on Nov.03:
380 HSFO - USD/MT – 504.44 (+6.71)
VLSFO - USD/MT – 776.75 (-4.44)
MGO - USD/MT – 1 158.11 (+0.41)
As of November 03, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price benchmark) registered an overall reduction of undervaluation premium in the HSFO segment, an unexpected transition of all four selected ports into the underpricing zone in the VLSFO segment, as well as the return of Houston into the underpricing zone in the MGO LS segment.
We do not expect any sustainable trend of bunker indices in Global bunker market on Nov.04: 380 HSFO – minus 3-9 USD/MT, VLSFO – minus 5-14 USD/MT, MGO LS – plus 15-35 USD/MT.
