2022-11-17MABUX: Global bunker indexes to continue changing irregular with no firm trend on Nov.17.
MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) did not have any firm trend and changed irregular on Nov.16:
380 HSFO - USD/MT – 522.11 (+7.60)
VLSFO - USD/MT – 762.02 (-0.16)
MGO - USD/MT – 1 129.54 (+1.71)
As of November 16, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price benchmark) registered slight decline of undercharge margins at all selected ports in the HSFO segment, Fujairah’s return back again into an underprice zone in the VLSFO segment, and no sustainable trend in undercharge dynamics while overcharge premium continued widening in the MGO LS segment.
We expect global bunker indexes to continue changing irregular with no firm trend on Nov.17: 380 HSFO – minus 2-5 USD/MT, VLSFO – minus 5-10 USD/MT, MGO LS – plus-minus 3-8 USD/MT.
