2022-11-22MABUX: Global market indices continue to decline on Nov.22
MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) continued firm downward trend on Nov.21:
380 HSFO - USD/MT – 502.94 (-2.62)
VLSFO - USD/MT – 717.43 (-12.31)
MGO - USD/MT – 1 095.86 (-6.84)
As of November 21, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price benchmark) registered widening of underprice margins at all selected ports in the HSFO segment, Fujarah’s return back into an overprice zone and Houston – to underprice zone in the VLSFO segment, no sustainable trend in undercharge and overcharge dynamics in the MGO LS segment.
We expect global bunker indices continue to fall on Nov.22: 380 HSFO – minus 0-3 USD/MT, VLSFO – minus 0-3 USD/MT, MGO LS – minus 4-20 USD/MT.
