2022-11-28MABUX: Downtrend to prevail in Global bunker market on Nov.28
MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) did not show a sustainable trend and changed irregular on Nov.25:
380 HSFO - USD/MT – 495.49 (+0.80)
VLSFO - USD/MT – 708.64 (-0.17)
MGO - USD/MT – 1 069.30 (-4.49)
As of November 25, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price benchmark) registered no firm trend in underpricing dynamics in the HSFO segment, Rotterdam and Houston underpricing vs. Singapore and Fujairah overpricing in the VLSFO segment, and no sustainable overcharge/undercharge dynamics in the MGO LS segment.
We expect downtrend to continue in Global bunker market on Nov.28: 380 HSFO – minus 3-8 USD/MT, VLSFO –minus 16-13 USD/MT, MGO LS – minus 5-25 USD/MT.
