MABUX: Downward trend to continue in Global bunker market on Jan.26.

MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) turned into slight downward movement on Jan. 25:

380 HSFO - USD/MT – 490.19 (-5.64)

VLSFO - USD/MT – 722.19 (-2.30)

MGO - USD/MT – 1 076.50 (-8.08)

As of January 25, the MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price Benchmark) registered slight narrowing of underprice premium at all selected ports in the HSFO segment, underprice down and overprice up in the VLSFO segment, and no sustainable trend in overprice/underprice ratio in the MGO LS segment.

We expect Global bunker indices to continue slight downward trend on Jan.26: 380 HSFO – minus 0-3 USD/MT, VLSFO – minus 0-3 USD/MT, MGO LS – minus 5-20 USD/MT.
