MABUX: Global bunker indices turn into slight upward evolution on Mar. 13.

MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) ended the week with a firm downtrend on Mar. 10:

380 HSFO - USD/MT - 477.17 (-7.65)

VLSFO - USD/MT – 652.24 (-7.53)

MGO - USD/MT – 917.44 (-9.62)

As of March 10, MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price Benchmark) registered:

- HSFO segment: widening of underprice premium at all selected ports.

- VLSFO segment: undercharge ratio increased at Rotterdam and Singapore but slightly fell at Fujairah. Overcharge premium at Fujairah narrowed.

- MGO LS segment: undercharge margins up at Rotterdam and Singapore but down at Houston. Overcharge ratio at Fujairah slightly increased.

We expect slight upward correction in Global bunker market on Mar.13: 380 HSFO – plus 2-5 USD/MT, VLSFO – plus 3-8 USD/MT, MGO LS – plus 7-20 USD/MT.
