MABUX: Global bunker indices to keep falling on Mar. 16.

MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) kept falling on Mar. 15:

380 HSFO - USD/MT - 467.26 (-7.74)

VLSFO - USD/MT – 634.24 (-12.72)

MGO - USD/MT – 908.08 (-4.36)

As of March 15, MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price Benchmark) registered:

- HSFO segment: underprice premium kept narrowing at all selected ports.

- VLSFO segment: undercharge ratio down at three selected ports: Rotterdam, Singapore and Fujairah, while overcharge premium at Houston slightly up.

- MGO LS segment: undercharge margins rose Rotterdam and Singapore but fell at Houston. Overcharge ratio at Fujairah slightly down.

We expect Global bunker indices to plunge on Mar.16: 380 HSFO – minus 7-15 USD/MT, VLSFO – minus 8-22 USD/MT, MGO LS – minus 10-35 USD/MT.
