MABUX: The phase of irregular changes to prevail in Global Bunker market on May 23.

MABUX World Bunker Index (as index calculated on current prices for 380 HSFO, VLSFO and MGO) decreased slightly on May 22:

380 HSFO - USD/MT - 485.01(-1.22)

VLSFO - USD/MT – 601.12 (-0.96)

MGO - USD/MT – 796.81 (-3.26)

As of May 22, MABUX MBP/DBP Index (MDI) (comparison of market bunker prices vs. the MABUX digital bunker price Benchmark) registered:

- HSFO segment: the underprice premium has widened in three selected ports: Rotterdam, Singapore, and Fujairah, with a range of 3-18 USD. However, it narrowed by 2 USD in Houston.

- VLSFO segment: the undercharge premium remained stable in Rotterdam and Houston. Fujairah has returned to the underprice zone, while the overcharge premium in Singapore decreased by 9 points.

- MGO LS segment: the underprice ratio increased in Rotterdam and Singapore but dropped in Houston. Fujairah remained the only overcharged port, with the premium decreasing by 6 points.

We do not expect Global bunker indices to have any firm trend on May 23: 380 HSFO – plus 1-3 USD/MT, VLSFO –plus 1-3 USD/MT, MGO LS – plus-minus 1-5 USD/MT.
